From beginners just learning the ropes to veterans comfortable with big pots, GT99 has a poker table for every level. Register today and claim your first bonus.
GT99 offers a wide range of poker formats to suit different playing styles.
The world's most popular poker format
Each player receives two hole cards and shares five community cards. Build the best combination and take the pot. This format is the foundation of nearly every major poker tournament worldwide, and it's now available at GT99 Malaysia.
More complexity, bigger winning potential
Each player receives four private cards. You must use exactly two cards from your hand and three from the board. Omaha Hi-Lo allows two winners in a single pot – one for the highest hand and one for the lowest.
Short or large tournaments by schedule
Sit & Go games kick off as soon as the required number of players has registered – ideal for a quick session. MTT (Multi-Table Tournament) offers larger prize pools with a slower blind structure.
Pick a tournament that fits your budget and schedule. Register before seats fill up.
Understand the poker hand rankings before you sit down at a table. This is essential knowledge every GT99 player must have.
GT99 is committed to protecting the personal information of all members. Your account data, transactions, and game records are encrypted and never shared with any third party without your consent. By playing at GT99, you agree to Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions ours.
It's not just luck – poker is a game of skill. Master the basics and improve your chances of winning.
Playing from a late position (dealer button) gives you an edge, as you act after the other players. Use this wisely to gauge the strength of your opponents' hands.
One of the most common mistakes new players make is playing every hand. Be selective. Folding isn't a weakness — it's the discipline that separates professional players from those who play on emotion.
Set a daily or weekly limit. Never bet money you can't afford to lose. Smart players at GT99 know that bankroll management is the key to long-term success.
Watch your opponents' betting patterns. Do they always check-raise? Do they fold often under pressure? That information is worth more than the cards in your own hand.
Bluffing isn't something you force into every hand. Do it when you have outs or when your betting story makes sense to your opponents. Bluffing without purpose is just burning chips.
Before calling any bet, calculate your pot odds against your hand's drawing odds. Math-based decisions will outperform emotion-driven ones in the long run.
Poker demands full concentration. Playing while tired or after a long losing session almost always leads to poorer decisions. Take a break and come back with a clear head.
GT99 offers practice tables so new players can get comfortable with the game without risking real money. Use this opportunity to understand the flow of play before putting your MYR on the line.
Poker is more than just a card game. It demands strategy, patience, the ability to read situations, and emotional control. For many Malaysian players, GT99 has become their most trusted online poker home — not because of big advertising campaigns, but because real experiences have time and again proven the quality of this platform.
Since GT99 launched its poker platform, the response from the local player community has been overwhelmingly positive. Players from Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Penang, Ipoh, Kota Kinabalu, and Kuching all sit at the same tables, competing on a level playing field in a transparent and secure environment. That's not something you'll find just anywhere.
Texas Hold'em is the format at the heart of modern poker. At GT99, we offer cash game tables across a wide range of blind levels – from RM 0.10/0.20 for players just starting out to RM 50/100 for the more experienced. Every table is monitored by GT99's anti-collusion and anti-cheating system to ensure a fair game for all players.
For those who enjoy the tournament experience, GT99's daily MTT schedule starts from a buy-in as low as RM 5, up to exclusive events with a RM 500 buy-in for Platinum VIP members. Each tournament's prize pool is set in advance, so you know exactly how much you can win before you take your seat.
One of the best things about playing poker at GT99 is the community that has grown around it. Players share experiences, strategies, and winning stories through GT99's forums and member groups. Many who started out as casual players have gone on to become serious competitors after experiencing the healthy rivalry on our platform.
GT99's daily freeroll tournament at 7 PM, exclusively for new members, is the perfect way to start your poker journey with zero financial risk. Win or lose, you'll pick up a lot in a short time – and who knows, you might just be GT99's top player this month.
When you sit down at a GT99 poker table, you can be confident that every hand is dealt using an independently audited RNG (Random Number Generator). Our anti-bot system detects and blocks any attempts to use automated software that could give any player an unfair advantage.
GT99 also actively monitors for suspicious betting patterns — including collusion attempts between players at the same table. Every violation report is investigated seriously, and accounts found to be in breach of the rules are suspended without delay. Game integrity isn't just a tagline for us — it's a core operating principle at GT99.
One of GT99's key advantages over overseas poker platforms is its payment system, built specifically for Malaysian players. You can top up your poker account using Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, DuitNow, Boost, ShopeePay, or via FPX with your preferred bank such as Maybank2u or CIMB Clicks. The minimum deposit is just RM 30, and withdrawals are processed in under 10 minutes to your Malaysian e-wallet or bank account.
No need to worry about exchange rates or hidden fees that international platforms typically charge. At GT99, every transaction is conducted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) from start to finish. This is one of the key reasons GT99 has become the platform of choice for Malaysian poker players who want to play with peace of mind and stay focused on the game.
Real experiences from active poker players at GT99.
"I'd been looking for a poker platform that doesn't give you headaches when you want to withdraw. GT99 is genuinely different – DuitNow lands in 5 minutes, no joke. The Hold'em tables are always busy too, so you never wait long for a seat. I've been playing here for 8 months now and have no reason to go anywhere else."
"Last week's Sunday Special MTT – I made it to the final table and walked away with RM 4,200. Honestly didn't think I could pull it off. GT99 offered a freeroll for new members, and that's what gave me the confidence to start. Now that I'm a Gold member, the deposit bonus is definitely worth it."
"I love Omaha because there's more action than regular Hold'em. GT99 has Omaha Hi-Lo tables with a decent player pool, so you don't have to wait around. Having the interface in Bahasa Melayu is a real plus too – easy to follow without needing to look anything up. Hope they add more Omaha tournament types."
